30th Ronde Van Aruba
Get ready, get set, go! The 30th Ronde Van Aruba is a traditional race held in May in which all competitors run along the island’s coastline. Individual, duo, relay, and speed marches are among the disciplines featured in the competition, which alternates between hard and unpaved sections.
The starting line for the participants will be located at Marinierskazerne Sporthal on Friday, May 20th, and the race will officially begin at 8 p.m. Athletes from all over the world will battle in this event for a spot on the podium. The winners will be announced on May 21st in a ceremony at Marinierskazerne Sporthal.

Aruba lifted all local restrictions as of February 2022, thanks to the high vaccination rate (with over 85% of people vaccinated), the low number of people infected with COVID-19, and a shortage of people in intensive care units. Additionally, as of March 19, travelers are no longer required to present a negative COVID-19 test result or proof of vaccination.
Local facilities’ operating hours returned to normal in terms of activities and events on the island, with no restrictions on closing hours or capacity, including restaurants and bars. Locals and visitors don’t require the use of a mask in open areas, but some health protocols still apply, like social distancing when possible and safe hygiene practices throughout your visit.
